I use the Cokin filter system on my film camera (when I use it). I will be using it on my dSLR as soon as I am able to afford one. I could just hold filters in front of my current lens but... what a pain. Here is Cokin's page on graduated filters:

For this image, something purple over the sky might be quite interesting. I think you can do similar manipulations in PS but that's not my thing.

Thanks James for the comment and suggestions...I am not sure what a graduated filter is, and unfortunately I doubt if my camera can handle one! I have almost saved up enough money to buy a better one! Thanks again!

It almost looks as though she is standing on the water. I like the gradations of color. You might consider employing a graduated filter to bring out the tones in the sky better (if your camera will accomodate filters).
