About This was also taken at Arcosanti and you'll notice the same canyon landscape in the background from my last post.

Arcosanti is very well known for the very unique bells they make. They sell over a million dollars a year of these bells to support this very unusual concept of a community. People live in the communal complex but have to contribute in some way to the community.

I saw this crucible that was so colorful from all the many firings. They use this to pour molten metal into forms to create metal ingots for storage.

Again, you can do a Google search for Arcosanti to see these interesting bells or to just read about this peculiar community.

I also experimented with HDR on this image. Still learning.

Hope you like it. Thanks for looking and comments are always welcome.

~ Warm regards, Rocky

Hi Sweetie, your wonderful critique is appreciated more than you know. I want to expand on this HDR technique and learn more. It's the thing that makes an image look more saturated but also gives it more depth. Do look them up on the Internet. I'm going to dig through the photos I shot that day and see if there is anything worth posting of the architechture. It's a pretty interesting place actually. Big HUGS! ~R

Hi Rocky, very nice light, details, and textures, beautiful colors and a superb DOF to isolate it from the background, and a very interesting about too, I had never heard of this community or these particular bells...nice when photography is interesting, beautiful, and teaches, like this image does. Love those blues in the sky too..very nice touch with the glove..well done..Hugs..Linda
