About The young fledgeling swallow was being fed by both parents but occasionally, instead of stopping to regurgitate food, they would do a "bombing run" and drop food on a flypast for the youngster to catch, presumably to teach it how to catch food on the wing.

Amazing action shot. The parallel between the wire and the form of the bird is very interesting. I like the contrast of the chick, very sharp and distinct, whereas the parent drifting away as a blurred ghost. As an epilogue, I end up thinking of the careful balancing act of the little bird; for some strange reason, its body is not in equilibrium with the wire; its centre of gravity is off.

Superb shot!

Awesome capture! The fledgeling is very sharp. In my experience they are very dificult shoot as they are so fast. Great to see another Minolta user, they're rare on this site. Regards, Collin.
