I love the melancholy mood inspired by the figure looking out of the window at the the rain on the sea.
What I particulary like is the juxtaposition of the 2 figures - one in the cosiness of his home and the other facing the elements of nature. The only criticism I have to make is that the figure in the rain looks as cosy as the figure at home.
But I like the composition very much, as well as the subject matter.

Very fine artistic work.
Wonderful topic. Colours are emphasizing the mood of melancholy, and it can sadness or anxiety... The man is reminding me the figure from image of Andrzej Wróblewski "Blue Chauffeur".
