Can't see full panoramic size, so can't tell if the soldiers are saluting or have their fingers in their ears :) I think that the cropping is good Ashley, really emphasises the power of the cannon shot.

Canada has a richer military tradition than one might imagine, and I think this shot captures that perfectly. From what I have read, Canadians are a tough lot in the trenches. Cheers, and thanks for sharing.

P.S. Next time if you get the chance try and negate the anachronistic structure in the background left.

A good shot well presented with the panoramasize. It would also be interesting to see a close-up on the people behind the canon and their expressions:-)
Best wishes,
Annemette
PS: Thanks for your kind comment.

j,

Thank you for your suggestion. I was trying to decide how narrow to go, a touch more would not hurt.

I think it's a very nice presentation perspective! I personally would have even gone a tad narrower (without eliminating the high smoke screen) I also think it's a very nicely timed capture. Great job! -john
