Thanks for your kind comments Ranjay. Not really sharpening but trying to give that grainy film effect. The original shot is also there in my album.

You stole my heart Bijit! I would be getting an opportunity soon to do these shots one more time!
And that Zenith! Kind of nostalgic!
For this photo though, I feel that there is too much sharpening. I can see speckles. It could be myu monitor, but would like to see the original too. Since you shot it on color print, the tonal variations on conversation could also have impacted. But the context and nostalgia is awesome!
Cheers!

Anindya, thanks for your comments.
1. Right e arekta lok chilo, ami crop kore diyechi. Chobita abar debo, with that person.
2. White blown out - correct, ashole under chilo, contrast barate giye hoyechay.
3. Grainy - amar monay porchay na ota intentional kina, kintu hoteo paare. Joddur monay porchay ota onek chotto akta crop from the original frame, tai noisy hoteo pare. Anyway, chobi ta arekbar debo, the original one. Dekhte hobe ota grainy achey kina.

Good street capture with lovely expressions and body-language of the subjects-tells a story. Some nits are- 1)would have liked the frame to move a bit to the right to include the man fully 2)The whites have blown out 3)How can a 100ISO film be so grainy? Is it intentional?
