Hi Avi... thank you for your question.
Sometimes I can get lost for hours in photoshop trying several different things to come up with the end result, & it's not all that easy afterwards remembering exactly how I got there... this is one of those cases but I will try my best to guide you through it & appologise now if I've left anything out.
This is comprised of two seperate photo's. The first was the lone swan on a river, the second the lake you can see above with the reflections in the water. I flipped the lake verticaly in photoshop as the reflection actualy made a better picture & the sky had texture gained from the water (the original sky was bleak & white) I then overlayed the swan using a layer (erasing the parts of the photo I did not want) & merged the two together. I opened another layer & desaturated the image, then using the eraser tool brought some of the colour back through. After that I used the craquelure tool (Menu - filter then texture) to add the effect. Finaly I added a black border & used the liquify tool to give the effect around the edges.
Hope that has helped explain the procedure... it assumes that you are familiar with the photoshop program so appologies if you are not.
Basically... have a play around with your photos using all the filters & different levels & you'd be suprised what you find out :)
Keep well & bright Sue x
