About This is a straight in camera shot from inside a dilapidated building. The virginia creeper is growing through the crack in the filthy window, and also outside it giving this painterly effect. There are no post processing tecqniques applied. I shot a whole series of this amazing phenomenon through the same window over a course of a week. Each shot is so different to the other since the colour of this plant changes rapidly.

You are always very kind to me Dear ana... your comments are warmly appreciated!

Not all my images are so "delicate". I am aware I have many dark mood and also disturbing and confronting images... but never at the expense of human beings! I respect people far too much for that sort of thing!

Thank you my friend,
Aniko :)

Thanks Paul. You're very kind, and I will happily post the series (or most of it) eventually... once my scanner is in a very good mood.

Again, warm thanks!
Aniko :)

Thank you Dave for your wonderful comments. I am about to upload another "eerie" image which shows more of the old house, and in fact the very window that this detail was shot from.

I like the idea of nature trying to "take back her own..." Ummm... except for in my house, which is becoming too hard to maintain and I am getting a bit annoyed with finding buckets for each new spot the rain chooses to pour in through! :)

Warm Wishes,
Aniko :)

Ah, yes, one of your abandoned buildings. I find it interesting how nature tries to take these structures over once abandoned. Or in my case, while I still live here.

This looks almost like stained glass, although totally natural. Perfect light and the dirt on the glass gives it an eerie feel.

Best wishes,
Dave

You make me smile, Mary!
I stopped doing housework long ago... hehehe...
Currently cultivating cobwebs on windows so I can have lace curtain! ROFL!

Thank you for your kind comments.

Actually, the series I made of this theme was called "Windows of Light"... I am thinking of changing the title back.

Hugs~ Aniko :)

Well, if you can get this from a delapidated building and filthy window, I am never doing housework again! A beautiful and full image. Yet light and definite.
