This picture was shot on the same pond as 'Natural Reflections' (no, really, it was), just from a slightly different viewpoint. I've added a little saturation to this one (thanks for the suggestion, Hugo!) I might not of had to if I'd used a polarizing filter.
Thanks for all the helpful suggestions for my photos, it is much appreciated.
This series, as well as the 'kempenfelt morning' pictures were developed to CD from colour negative film. The place I took the roll competes on price, not quality, but they still do a decent job. (Priced like Walmart but better results).
I like what you've done with my image, a marked improvement for sure. I have one more picture of this scene that I'm going to post shortly, and I've done some adjusting to the levels and contrast.
Not sure if a polariser would've worked with this low light... I presume this is pretty much straight from film - scan? I think with some regular digital processing (nothing more fancy than any pro lab would've managed to get out of the film) you could boost the impact just a bit further. See also attached.
Compared to the previous photo, I do think this image is quite an improvement - and yeah, the same beautiful scene...:) Very good shot!
