This is a beautiful portrait and the eyes are stunning! It has an interesting yellow/green tint to it which I think adds to its mystery. It also got me thinking about what it might look desaturated, except for the eyes. Here is an example. This is just another idea and not meant to change what you have as it is excellent. Great job!
