I am taken by the way IR images reveal detail in clouds and shadows, Michele, and keep coming back to it for those reasons, among others. There was no one to be found on this little grassy beach the day I shot these for the pano. I try to make my images something that will soothe a viewer. Thanks for taking the time to comment on this picture. It is one of my favorites, Michele. All the best to you. Anson

I know the feeling about that Anson, another problem is at the ends that is missing details. I haven`t look into the tutorial`s finer points yet but I am sure there is a work around. Regards Robbie

Some of the foreground got chopped off in the software trimming process, Robbie. Haven't gotten used to allowing for that yet. Thanks for the encouragement and the dope on the program. Regards. Anson

One nice thing I've noticed about IR shots, Bob, is that what first appears to be dark shadows frequently isn't if you are shooting on a bright day. For example, the trees on the left were in pretty dark shade, yet provided good detail. Thanks so much for the comment on composition, which I tried to be a little creative with here. Anson

I wish there was more foreground leading into this beautiful image with IR tones that is so gorgeous.Love the back-lit palms and clouds against the dark water. Needless to say a wonderful image Anson beautifully stitched. Great job!!! Robbie

Very nice image, great title. I've enjoyed your other panoramic, black and white landscapes. In this one, I like the dual distances of the trees, nearer on the left, deeper on the right.

You are right, Sandip, the foreground needs a little more room, and the table needs a little more attention to show more of it. I used an "automatic" cropping stitching program that cut out some of the foreground and the table. A reshoot is in order, which is easy since this little lake is only about 20 km from my home. Thanks for the very constructive comments, which will help me in the reshoot. Anson

beautiful shot ...
however in my feeling it could have been better if you've given a bit more space in the foreground .. i like the placement of the table ... but could appreciate better if it had a bit more meaningful presence .....

Glad you like this photo, Bill. Taken with Wratten 89B filter and IR permissive Canon 300D. Sorry about the table. Need something to fill the space. Anson
