Hi Sarah, and thank you for your comment. This is a 'band shell' or an open structure designed for musicians to play concerts outdoors. The shape of the 'shell' naturally amplifies and directs the sound to the audience. I thought this minimalistic perspective of it was colorful, interesting, and pleasing to the eye. Thanks again.
