You are most welcome Dear Alex. I am no genious. I just happen to be easily inspired. I also hope your girlfriend will appreciate this very simple poem. I send it from my heart. I love people, I love nature, I love to share!

It is certainly no attempt. And best of all I understood every word. :-) I admire those who can write poetry. I don't always understand it, but it seems to me a bit genious the fact that a poet can describe an image in just a few words. I hope my girlfriend will be glad to see it. Thank you, Aniko.

You owe me nothing, Alex. And please do not worry about my sleep. Soon my son will wake to prepare to go to school, so I will wait up a little longer until he has gone. (He will pass the beautiful scenery on his walk to the school bus) :) I can then sleep for awhile. Often i sleep in short "cat naps". I really love the day time, but am more of a night owl. When the weather is warmer, I enjoy the days much more. The cold in this part of Australia is very different to that in Europe (or so my dear mother tells me... I have forgotten.)
Now I hope this poem will copy over here. I am more than hapy to share!
Here goes... my attempt... :)
FORGET-ME-NOT your forget-me-not blue eyes are secrets tiny flowers spreading their seeds within my garden embracing my vision I remember petals golden centres our last look across the room you on the threshold dropping seeds of blues and softer hues forget-me-not © A Heart 2006

Ahh. Almost forgot. I believe that the true name for the little weed-flowers is indeed "forget-me-nots". It was a mot-a-mot translation. Here it becomes a weed as well, but only in the people's yards. While hiking, you hardly find them, and when you do, you ask yourself how such a small and cute thing survived the harsh conditions of 2000 m altitude.

I would owe you one (A BIG ONE) if you would send me the poem. I would like to attach it to the "Love in the Mist" photo and send it afterwards to my girlfriend. Again, if it is no trouble. But tomorrow. I wish you a good.. morning sleep.

It would be an honour if you send it to your loved one, Alex! The flower itself is actually called "Love in the Mist" and there is no real mist in the shot at all. The foliage has a misty quality and that is what I wanted to portray by using a shallow depth of field. :)
Also the image of the flowers you have attached, we have the same here named "Forget Me Nots", (very similar to "Don't Forget Me". My garden has so many! Very pretty, but here, they can become a weed, sadly. The seeds spread far and wide and invade the native bush, which is a bit of a shame. However, I do love Forget Me Nots regardless. I even wrote a poem in their honour! (I think I am a romantic... lol)

I believe the name of this flower inspired you to create this picture. It gives a sensation of mist around the flower. I bet that in a larger image you get lost contemplating the flower, surrounded by the mist. This image is a nice present for the one you love. Is it ok if I send it to the one I love (I will tell her that it is made by you). We also have a cute little flower called "Nu-ma-uita" ("Don't forget me").

Thank you for your kind comment, Alex. The way this image was made was very simple. I used a macro lens with a shallow depth of field. The only post photo process was the soft vignette effect around the border of the picture, done in photoshop. Otherwise it is a straight in camera shot. These flowers are rather small and lovely aren't they? :) It is obvious to me why they are called "Love in the Mist".
Warmest wishes, Aniko

Ok, this is absolutely fantastic. Would it be too much if I asked you how you did it?

Once again, you kindness radiates through Dear Mary. Love in the Mist is one of my favourite flowers and is so soft and indeed, dreamy.
Thank you for your sweet comment! Aniko :)
