You have captured a really good look on the subjects face, well done, lighting could have been better however

Great portrait Suvomoy...

May I tell you an easy way using PS, to find a way around the burnt parts in the portrait:

- Open the photo in Photoshop.

- Go to the channel, and find the best one with shadow details (I think here it could be the blue)

- Load the channel selection (either by selecting the channel, then pressing the selection button, or activating the channel and pressing command/control return)

- Go back to the full color mood, you may hide the selection by pressing command/control H)

- Start using the Burn tool... (set up the opacity to less than 20%, and may be not midtones, just shadows; see which works better) and go around the burnt part... it would start showing more details.

- you may use the same technique, for the dark areas, selecting a channel with good shadow details, and applying the Dogde tools over the dark spots.

I know you most propably you know it, just wanted to share a tip with you.
