About The most-loved cat I ever had...who is no longer with me. My daughter named him 'Cotton' because his fur was almost as soft as chinchilla.:)

Shirley:
This is a great pet portrait and the green eyes are simply stunning in color, clarity and depth! It's amazing how these animals can come to mean so much to us and become in all aspects cherished members of the family! Amazing . . . but wonderful!

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Yes, you are observant. Cotton thought he was a 'man'.:) When he was a baby, he was "mama's boy", but when he grew up, he became my husband's cat...Worshipping him! Every now and then, he would graciously bestow his love upon me.:)

Glad to meet one of your cat, present or past. Impressive green eyes; I am use to blue. It must be a male: seems a stark and possessive look.
Ciao Shirley.

Giuseppe

Well, he put up with quite a lot...probably the most photographed cat on the planet!:))) But he would get tired and grumpy if I 'flashed' him too much. Thank you, Ray!

Always a sadness that our lovely pets have to move on my sweet Shirley, but we never forget them, do we. This is a very lovely pet portrait and Cotton looks as though he was very tolerant of the camera. Misty, our big fluffy cat hates me pointing the camera at her but Poppy is as good as gold. A lovely shot my dear and a happy memory. Very best wishes....Ray

Yes, I mourned him a long time. We raised him from a tiny kitten, and took him everywhere in the car with us during the first years of his life. He was like our son.:)))

This cat looks so serene, as though it has all the answers. My very first cat looked like this one. They create a huge hole when they go, don't they! Cathy
