I like this even better my friend. You have caught our feathered friend having a quick appetiser and not lost track of keeping a great balance to this shot. The colour tones are gorgeous, the details quite awesome and the dof just superb. Well done to you Larry....I am going to have to think about acquiring a longer lens. You are getting some wonderful shots with this 70-300mm. Very best wishes.....Ray

You were obviously on a roll this day... Very nice vertical presentation of the American Goldfinch Male. I love the composition, and your DOF as it fades to blur from top to bottom, utilizing the rules of Golden Proportion as your template. Once again your sharpness spot on, with out digital assistance...Very cool Larry!!! You should be proud.
