About Film Revival
------------
Thought I'd post some images I've had on film but never got around to scanning. My scanner is not very high quality, so never mind the unavoidable quality loss. :-(
----------------

This time, sunrise from Kiawah Island outside of Charleston, SC. My family used to vacation there when I was a teenager.

EDIT: I see potential for geographical confusion! This is indeed sunrise facing EAST! "How," you ask, "when the atlantic is to the east, are you able to have buildings and NOT the ocean in front of you?"

Simple, I was on the WEST side of the island! :-P

Honestly, you could be right. I think I woke up early in the morning to take this photo, but I could be mistaken. My memory of that time is not super!

Thanks for the feedback!

That diagonal of the water reflection is what saves it. You have plenty of great photos. Don't get hung up on one that is not your best. It is hard to step back and be objective about our own work sometimes.:)

You think so? I like the way it's broken up by the water running at an opposing diagonal to the roof/dune lines.

I'm not sure there's anything I can do about it, looks this way on the print. This too, I took about 8 years ago!

Thanks for the feedback! :-)

Pretty sky and water, Jacob, but a little too much blackness, I think...
