About	I'm not 100% sure if this is a juvenile or just non-breeding plumage, but they sure look different than when they are dressed up in their iridescent green with yellow spots and bright yellow beaks.

Wonderful Todd,
If I didn't know better I'd swear you placed that bird there and then moved the grass around just so it would be this perfect.....you wouldn't do that would you?
No kidding Todd this should be blown up huge and hung on a wall....OUTSTANDING!!!!

Nice shot of this much maligned bird, Todd! I like the way you've got him framed in the grass, with the dof providing a perfect out of focus background.
