About Anna held still for 30 seconds by firelight, which rendered red on the film. A slight accent has been added to bring out detail.

Thank you so much, dear Ray! That is why I did not use the term 'torchlight', because you dear would interpret it as 'flashlight'. They were flaming torches, set up to light the dark woodland path.

An excellent 'hold' by Anna and yet another wonderful composition from you sweetie. I love the enhanced firelight effect in this stunning study Shirley and I love the deep blue showing through the trees in a contrast to that fabulous fiery red. I am confused by your reply to Mark H as there is mention of fire torch and flashlight. Now, I gather it wasn't a fire as such but some form of torch or flashlight, both terms being familiar to me. So, was it a flaming torch, a battery operated torch or a solar torch??:):) Very best wishes to you my dear Shirley.....Ray

Well done, Shirley. It is romantic and sentimental as it is meant to be. Your technique is interesting as I would have expected either coloured gels on a strobe or PS work!

very impresive , the lighting here is magic and very interesting, the color tone is very amazing , the atmosphere is full of drama , like those of Drakola Movies .

In general I like this image and I did enjoy viewing it .

Wishing you all of the best my friend.

Well, for one thing, the fire was from torchlight, but I was afraid our European friends would think I meant 'flashlight', so I just said 'firelight'. Thank you, again, Mark.

Looks like a wonderful night to be out by the fire ... just the hint of sky adds complexity to the shot. Why not put a little more room in front of the model and maybe a corner of the fire?

Nice effect, thanks! M
