Thanks, it is one of my favorites. I took it last winter because of the bands of colour and the rawness of the open water. I checked out your photos and they are fantastic. I hope I can get to your level at some point. Thanks again for the kind words.
Excellent shot. Great colour contrasts, a very pleasing balance of sand, water and sky, excellent placement of the horizon and altogether a beautiful image. Simple, eye-catching - I'm shocked it hasn't received more visits. The only thing I could possibly ask for is if there was no land visible to interfere with the clean lines of the horizon. Regardless - this would look good on a wall somewhere. Nicely done.
