Her skin is pretty smooth to start with. A pimple or two removed, but that's pretty much it.

TIA

This almond-eyed girl looks like a porcelain doll. Is the skin on her face really so flawless or have you used Photoshop to make it so snooth?

Very fine photo.

Another perfectly illuminated portrait showing professionalism and experience.

Well done.

You sculpted her face so amazingly here! This is indeed a study in how to light.

A beautiful capture Phil, the colours and DOF are great worth hanging on the wall

Yeah, that 8.5fps is a pretty strong temptation. The 30d shoots at 5fps. I think so does the 5d.

I love the 8fps feature of the camera. High ISO capabilities is a plus, but most new cameras can handle that as well. Solid Body for sure as well.

Well, thanks anyway. I guess you at least are happy with your MkII. The only differences I could see (in specs) was the frames per second rates and the CCD sizes. Are there any features you wouldn't trade away off your camera, or any that you wish it had?

James, I'm not a big gear person. I've only ever owned 3 camera's. I started out 8 yrs ago with the Fuji S1. Then Canon D60's of which I use for backup. I have the MkII now. I can't comment on the others since I've never used them. I'd say rent them, try them, and buy from that.

Hope that helps.

Regards,

Nice detail in this portait.

Can I ask you about your Canon? I am considering which dSLR to buy. I know there is a pretty big price difference from the 30d to the 5d to the 1d. Would you care to comment?
