Very interesting shot. I am enjoying your portfolio. You are a very talented photographer. I can't imagine why you didn't receive more ratings. All 7's in my book!

Thanks all. I hope to do a couple more shots of her in these type of role. I did have her feet on a small stool in front of the chair. I did this primarily to keep her dress from bunch'n up, if that makes any sense.

I hope to do the jean and t-shirt thing soon.

Regards,

Philip, I like this one better than the one of her standing with her hand on the frame (the eyes were too shadowed and took a lot of the life out of the picture). The one thing that bothers me is the chair is too low and that has her knees and the dress too high. I believe in keeping the knees below the pelvis.
I'm afraid I don't agree with Nita about greater similarity. I would love to see you have some fun with this and make it a fairy tale story, or what I can be story. Take the dress off of her and have it hang in the background. She could either be in the lingerie or back into blue jeans and sweat shirt.
Just my thoughts Philip. You have great imagination and great techni

This is absolutely beautiful! I love the idea of the image. The only things I would say I wish were different, is I don't like the way the chair back looks consealed partially by the dress. I also thing the girl in the painting is standing, so I would like to see a greater symmetry between the painting and the real girl by having her looking exactly like in the painting, standing, arms back. The lighting colors, everything else is perfect!

I like the portrait within a portrait. I think it's interesting that the woman doesn't look at us, and the portrait looks away from her. Nice balance to the composition, good lighting, and a beautiful photo as well.
