Thanks Shirley for your kind words, and I'm happy you like it. The vessel is just leaving, the pole is on the side of the lake. This was on the Garda Lake in Italy, the vessel itself was an oldie, powered on both sides, the same way as the old mississippi river boats with the steam engines.

A lovely capture here Klaas - and journalistic too - one wonders about the post in the water, the movement of the vessel (is it reversing?) and all very well composed and captured.

Hi Jessie, thanks for your visit and kind comment, and yes, this is the frame I love the most. I'm glad you like it so much. I've seen some work from your portfolio and I wil look a bit closer when I have more time, I liked what I saw, a lot of "water"work, and I like water a lot.

She didn't fall off Carlen, the boat just left the dock, than I saw the men shooting his wife, so thats why the pillar is in front. Me myself don't find this disturbing, but yes, maybe without is better.
