I totally agree with you, Antoinette. I love the rust tones on anything. I feel that it gives the image a bit more character. Thanks for the comment and taking a look at my shots.

Depending on the image and what needs to be done in terms of contrast, ect., I use different B&W techniques. For this image, because the contrast and tones were already quite good with the color version, all I did was desaturate it. Which was awesome because I didn't have to do anything else. :)

I definitely prefer the b&w image...not sure why...perhaps it heightens the industrial feeling of the image for me.
Great job on the bw conversion. Which method do you use to convert from color? I know there are several different methods and I've always wondered what others are.

it dose look good in B&W but i think the colour workes better, coz of the rust, it gives it a better atmosphere, but only my opinion.
