Love that Velvia saturation! There seems to be some artifacts from compression or sharppening (?) around many of the edges of the boy, his shadow, the pole, etc. But obviously a dynamite trannie!
Took your advice and boosted the contrast on my 'Bellagio' shot and reposted it. I think it's clearly better; your opinion is welcome.
Thanks!

Don't be sorry Jim, I'm not posting to have my ego stroked! Thanks for the feedback, there is something I have taken away and will apply. Much more beneficial to me than "Nice shot"

Sorry Darrin but I have to agree with Marco and Megan, some fill flash on the boys face would have made this a much better shot.
Best Regards,
Jim Gamble

Darrin,

Great composition on an interesting subject! A shame about the cap shadowing the boys face, but not something you had control over. Beautiful sky - the polariser did it's job well.

Amazing as usual, but this time you should have used a flash to "read" the shadowed expression of the boy. That's why I'm giving "only" a 6/7 rate !
