Dear Marlyce I hear you. I pray for the safety of your dear son and all people's sons and daughters who somehow are stuck in the war zones. God bless

Watch it Kambiz! ---Unlike you I have NO proof that ALL the people at Guantanamo Base are innocent. Perhaps you should be persuing this in courts instead of on a photo-critique website where it would do more good. They're also not ALL afghani! I'm all for the innocent going home to their suffering families . . . whether they're the innocent in prison or the innocent in falling New York City buildings. I'm not sure sending terrorists home to kill more innocent people will help to end this vicious cycle of violence . . . ---It's a shame you hope for the return of the prisoners and not for the end of the violence. An end to violence would more likely get you your wish sooner . . . and wouldn't be seen as biased. I, myself, hope that all the violence ends. ---It's funny how you capitalize the word LIBERTY in your Declaration when it wasn't capitalized in the original. Apparently, that's liberty in your view to do anything? Liberty to kill innocents? Liberty to commit crimes and atrocities?? Why is it you did not capitalize LIFE? Is that less important? ---If the government becomes DESTRUCTIVE? You're right - we DO have the right to ALTER or abolish. Perhaps you didn't vote to alter it in the last election? I did! I was outvoted. ---My son is in the 10th Mtn. Rangers in Afghanistan. He already served his time in Iraq. Yes . . . I would rather he was not there! I would also rather there weren't people who wanted us dead ONLY because we're not Islamic . . . and there ARE those people. Sorry you feel upset that a need for self-defense has been felt. Perhaps you should talk to the radicals like Osama . . . who will no doubt explain to you that he wanted to provoke action or to the 9/11 widows and orphans. Frankly, I'm sorry the need exists . . . but we must defend ourselves . . . isn't that what you're doing? ---Please leave your politics at the gate when it comes to critiquing photos which are NOT political. Thanks for the congrats . . . we do LOVE peace, justice and freedom . . . for ALL . . . including peace for ourselves . . . and freedom from attacks.
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~
PS: Sorry MQ . . . but you know me.

Kambiz, what a long comment. Trying to stay away from the political aspect, all I can say it thank you for the comment, and YES my 22 year old son is in a war zone and his wife and two beautiful children are on the east coast while all the family lives on the west coast. We all pray for his safe return and support him in his decision to serve his country.

Thank you Paul. Fortunately I did not have to pull over, I shot this while my husband was driving.

as many times as I've seen this sign, and as many times as I've wanted to pull over and shoot it, I was ALWAYS stressed with getting back home.
Thank you for doing what had to be done. Nice overlapping angle, Marlyce.
