Hi Al, many would say yes, but my experience with portrait photograhy led me to believe that if the background is flattering to the shot its not distracting, and this is a very nice backdrop in which I like....

I think it is. you can help restore attention to your subjects any of several ways. Here's what I'd try first: Select them, invert the selection to the background, and darken it. Then, invert it again so they are selected, and bring her white point up full (her dress is not fully white).

This is a beautiful portrait, what a lot of people don't know is the great out doors is the best place to take wedding pictures, where everyone can be there selfs, I think you did a excellent job.

it is a nice out door couple portrait and the lighting is wonderful , the background could have been treated or by another means blured to give a better atmpospher for such , image, other wise I did enjoy viewing this photograph and very pleasant to view, all of the best my friend
