What an amazing place... there's El Capitan, timeless in its majesty. The world 'progresses' (phones play songs, take photos and make toast) but some things stay reassuringly the same, at least to the naked eye.

Scott Sorry i did not get back to yor sooner, but everything on my computer screen flipped 90o and it took two days to get it corrected. Yes,I very much like the increased saturation. I have been going through my negative file to see if I had a better pic. without the branch hanging down in front of half dome but no luck. I do appreciate the time and effort that you have put into this image. I will increase the saturation and repost it. and give you credit for your help. Thanks, Frank

Sid Thank's for your comments. yes it is too bad about that branch especialy that it covers Half Dome. When I get back to NJ I will look at some of the other images that I took at that location.

Wonderful compositon Frank. ONly thing thats little iffy is that small branch of pine tree coming into the center. I would probly crop that out. Other than that an excellent Image. Nice framing.

I love the natural frame of the pines. The only thing that distracts is that one branch hanging down in the center. It is a marvelous shot though, none the less.

Imho, you have included too much branches into the composition - mauntains looks like a small hills in comparison with them. And colours look like a too much magenta. Warm regards, Serge
