About I pass Enniskillen Castle every time I walk to the shops . Love it in the Spring when the Daffodils brighten up the grey stone of the Castle

Mavis, this is a wonderful composition...not mention the fact that there's a castle in the scene and the forground dafodils are the perfect entrance to the castle...sharp, detailed and well composed

I love the composition of this...very natural...which is what it is. :) Great details in the foreground and background with beautifully contrasting colors. Very nice DOF that flows across the water.

Very good DOF. The diagonal compsition of the daffodils againest the straight lines of the castle and its shore gives a sense of depth. Very good overall.

Yay! More Ireland photos! I think it's so amazing that there are castles everywhere in Ireland, even in the middle of urban areas. We have no such thing in the US, our history is so short compared to Europe's. See if you can straighten the horizon line a bit (my calculations say 1.38 degrees clockwise) and you've got a real winner here. Love the yellow against the gray. Actually, slightly overcast days make for more vivid photos but it looks like the sun was out here. Cheers.

I really like the way you used the daffodils to frame that lovely castle. Colors and details are excellent.

Hi Renee glad you liked it . So difficult to get a good view of the Castle and the best Daffodils at the same time . If I moved the Daffodils were very sparse . My son suggested taking a saw with me next time !! :))

Love the composition and how the flowers are in the foreground. Too bad there wasn't a view without the trees, whick kind of block the castel. But I agree that the daffodils brighten up the grey stone.
