Yeah. I like Gowen a lot. I have two of his books. He was hired to shoot a lot of images of Hanford (Washington's nuclear problem). Keep up the good work.

Hi James - I had a look at som of Gowins work and it is very impressive! Especially his geographical work. I always wonder what masters like him or Ansel Adams would have done with the current technology! We have so mush to learn from so many!

I love this shot.. it's like an optical illusion! Like Dave said, it look like it could be taken from 15,000 feet in the air! Or possibly standing on the edge of a very steep cliff... Amazing capture!

I'm sorry, I have to comment again. I am in awe of this, been studying it since the last comment. You know, if not for the twigs in the lower right corner, you could convince me this is a photo of a great river delta taken from 15,000 feet. Especially with the little weed that looks like a tree top.
I could never do this since my brat boy Diablo goes everywhere with me. He'd be ruining this with paw prints just about the time I tried to snap the shutter.
