Hi Chris..
I hope that is not my video, dark-calibrated, .. The mood and the effect are so strong, Chris, also the grainy effect on frame.
I personally have this idea of the shot .. Sure just enough brightness in the water droplet to catch the eye, and separate it from the background, but I believe that the slight underexposure side lose detail and the effect!
If you have overexposed for 1/2 stop on drop the result is so clear!
congrats..

Imageopolis Featured Photo Critique All your macros are jaw-droppers, honestly, not a foot wrong. Simply amazing clarity in the reflection on that droplet of water. Superb light, superb work. Best of all, you share the techs with us.

It's a very well done image. You've played by the rules using rule of thirds etc... But, you've not come up with the usual static result. I feel that this is due to the creative seeing involved. The droplet against the dark background is both unexpected and ideal.

Nicely done, Chris! I like the composition and the choices you made to use relatively desaturated colours. The drop holds nice reflections.

Very well composed shot, Chris, with just enough brightness in the water droplet to catch the eye, and separate it from the background.
