I've had this in my favourites list for some time, but had not commented yet.
This is simply suberb, catching a playful moment in fantastic settings and beautiful light. Composition is so strong, with the subject placed on one side, launching the ball into empty space (a really strong psychological leading line!).
The reflection of the boy on the water adds another dimension (how he sees/imagines himself? Playing in a cup final?)
Really brilliant and evocative, with strong emotional appeal (well, for me anyways :)
