The feeling here is pleasant. Whatever you did really is effective in producing a warm effect. The colours and details are grand as is the mist. I like. Mary

Thanks Hugo,
It was almost raining when I took this, a really heavy mist, which really contributed a lot to the overall look. It wasn't quite storm light but it was close.
The more I take pictures the more I realize it's like being mute in a way. I can only show you an idea, whether it be, beauty or a metaphor or an idea attached to a picture, I can't tell you anything verbally. It's really hard to do sometimes.
In the end I am happy it grew on you :-)
Mark

Hi Mark, interesting quest to try and recreate the feel of being there. And not an easy one, as you can only use the visual sense to make up for th ones that get lost in photography: smell, sound and feel. I do think you managed to make up for those losses by the postprocessing; although at first I thought it was a bit overdone. I was about to suggest to go apply these effects onto a new layer and ste the opacity of that layer, so you still can fine tune it after playing around with it, but on second thought, I'm beginning to like this more and more - it kinda grows on you. The subdued tones may not look completely natural all together, but it does create a natural feel, absorbing the viewer (me) - good stuff!
Cheers,
Hugo

I like how the water guides my eyes to the misty landscape in the background. Excellent effects my friend. Bravo, Khaled.

Mark, you are getting some classic scenery pictures. Certainly does have a feel and atmosphere. Love the layers of rich colour and how they merge and carry the eye to light misty sky.
