Considering switzerland, well, the surroundings are nice as are also many cities. But there is not much movement regarding science or arts, except of very well known and established things, so it can get quite boring at times - not to say burgeois.
But indeed there is much to look and to capture and if one finds some interested people, it can get also exciting.
