Nice one Laura. This certainly suits the panoramic format. I thought perhaps the haze should have been more over the water to be more natural but looking at the original it was through the trees so I think you've got it about right. Well done.

I understand, Laura. In this case it is better to keep it small and beautiful;)

Thank you for your reply. I use Photo Impact by Ulead, have a good understanding of resizing with that program. I use a very slow dial up. Hence I must keep photo sizes down low, other wise this thing times out.

Laura, I'm not sure, what imaging program you are using. I use mostly Adobe Photoshop Elements. If you upload an panoramic image, which is defined by an ratio of image width to image heigth greater than 2:1, you are able to upload this image with more than 850 pixels in width than normally. By resizing the image (Image -> Resize -> Image size) you can e.g. set the width to 1200 pixels (check the "Constrain Proportions" checkbox to keep the image proportions). After you uploaded the image, everybody can see the image in the size 1200x500 pixels for example, just by clicking the HERE link.

I hope my English was good enough to explain it properly. If you have further questions, or I was unclear, please don't hesitate to ask for more explanations.

Regards, Markus

I have no idea how to set up the "Click here to view Full size..." When this photo opens, that is an option on my screen. So....... What are you suggesting? Is there something I should do?

It's wonderful, Laura. I'm just wondering why you didn't make use of the option of panoramic images to upload them in bigger size. Many people have big screens and they could see it in a way, as I attached, just be clicking "HERE" for full size panoramic View of this image.

Thanks Laura for your reply, I wouldn´t crop to much of the underside from your photo, because than I cropped your name off, and your in fact the photographer. I´m glad you liked it.
Have a nice weekend,

Klaas

Like this one very much Laura, I did a little cropping yesterday of your photo, but I didn't know if I should post it, but I do it anyway, hope you like it. Yours is even more "panoramic".
Very good work on the added smoke, not "too" much, very good job done here.
Best regards, take care,

Klaas

Nicely done Laura . . . JUST the right amount of patchy haze (I know, 'smoke') has been applied. Any more would detract from the image but this traquil scene evokes a misty, pastoral image of great beauty. Very impressive work!

Beautiful with the water running through the field and that haze again mixed with sunlight. Alison

Thank you Michael, no that is NOT fog. This time of year we have a smoky haze in Southeast Texas. I decided to emphasize it, rather than try to edit it out.
