About The brewing Storm

A silence so still and strong
Like nature knows what’s to come
Eeriness like never seen before
A child’s whimper, all it takes to stake the score

A once clear sky fills now with doom
Thousands cometh with the new moon
Distant rumbling fills the air
Men standing ready, only look if they dare

The noise, to the heavens, like thunder sounds
Vibrations sent running through the ground
Streaks & flashes, lights, they scar the sky
The angered Gods sit way up high

They waited till we weakened ourselves
Mankind’s death from inane wiles
Now the harm, it has been done
No salvation! No offering will come

Weapons at arms! We have none, all spent to soon
Wasted on ourselves, we’ve sealed our own doom
The final battle it has begun, with a heart wrenching cry
No man will be left standing, for all are sure to die

Many tremble with the cold
Many die, not just the old
Wasted life gone so young
Why? Because this wars not won

In what name does this blood fall
Isn’t it time we abandoned all
The false beliefs now old with time
Beliefs that lead mankind down this line
Where only destruction lays ahead
When will our hatred ever be fed?

Blood will run, the earth will bleed
Towers fall, began the creed
Take this warning my dearest friend
Silent battles make noise in the end

The brewing storm
Ever closer comes
Protect your daughters
Protect your sons
For they are the ones who’ll feel the pain
They are the ones
……………………whose life
………………………………..will never be the same

Bless Mary... real glad I brought those fond memories back to you... Wales is a beautiful place with gorgeous castles and as we see here amazing skys... will re-visit someday.

Unfortunatly most of the photos I took on my visit there were corrupted when stored on CD... though a handful survived. This one was taken in a town called Colwyn Bay, where we stayed... beautiful place & memories to last.

Keep well & bright x

Sue, it made me smile to hear that this great sky was taken in Wales. My Grandmother, a wonderful and gracious lady, grew up in Wales. She moved to Canada shortly after she was married. I was fortunate enough to enjoy a trip to Wales to meet some relatives I had only heard of and to admire the marvelous countryside. That was many years ago, but I have very fond memories.

Thank you Mary... the sky shot was taken a few years ago in Wales... believe it or not it was hardly altered in PS... amazing sight to behold. Not often I see a sky so very vibrant & red. Thank you for all your comments.. appreciated as always.

Keep well & bright
Blessings

Stunnning- how you manage to write so much I do not know- but I am very glad! So strong image and words. Again, so together- "lights they scar the sky". And no specific face really applicable to the generality of harm. So powerful Sue.
