Hi Jon,
That is a good quote. "The ability to touch a viewer personally". Another one I heard is "If you don't get some kind of reaction from your image, there was no point in showing it"

Nice job Jon!
This brings back a few memories for me. Both of my boys were in soccer when they were this age. Lots of great times on the sidelines and assisting with the coaching.
This shot came out perfectly. He is frozen in action with some nice DOF.
