Thanks a lot Olga for the lovely comment and support …
This Picture was taken in very old prison in Alexandria,
That’s why the actor act this way
And he was in a whole under ground …
That’s why I like to share it even if the resolution is not good
Thanks again and good luck with your Arabic study,
If you want any help in Arabic you can contact me any time…

Yes, I am happy to help you! There are two ways to make parts in focus - sharp - in a picture:

1. with automatic focus: have the part you want to be in focus in the centre of the picture, push the button half way, the camera focusses and, while you hold the button half-supressed, then move the camera in such a way that you have the picture in the screen or viewfinder like you want it, and then press the button fully.
The second picture you make in the same way, but focussed on a part at a different distance. For instance: first a picture of the face, made in a normal way, and then a picture focused on a hand, then keeping the shutter-button half way surpressed you move the camera so that the face is in the centre and make the second picture.

2. with manual focus, and on a tripod: focus on the face, make pic 1, then adjust the focussing so that the hands are sharp and make the second picture.

Then you open both pictures in your computer, copy one as a new layer on top of the other, make it transparant, move the top layer so that it fits the lower, and erase the parts in the top layer where you want to see the bottom layer.
The pencil picture would lend itself well to this approach.
Is this clear enough to you?

regards, Huub

Dear Mohamed,

Again, just like the meetings phot of the pencil... If you want everything to be in focus, you could try taking several pictures with a different focus, even without using a tripod, and then digitally combining those...? focus one on the hands, and one on the face, and combine.. a way of getting an impossible depth of field... something you may be interested in.
greetings, Huub
