I very nice photograph. I found myself learning forward to see more detail. I just wanted to learn more and was not disappointed. The presence of three sea gulls made this photo to show that life continues in the face of the oncoming storm. Dramatic!

I am so used to seeing beach photos as bright and cheery, it is refreshing to see something so cool and soothing! The darkness makes me feel that a storm is winding it's way inland - very nicely balanced shot.

John, The strength of this picture, in my opinion, is the blue line on the ocean balancing everything. The clouds and the gentle curve of the island ad movement to it. Splendid work. Marilia

John,
This is a beautiful shot, the polariser really brought the sky and clouds out beautifully, and the composition is great. It does appear a little dark, which could be fixed in Photoshop.

Love the shot, looks just as cold and mysterious as the beaches are up there. I think a faster shutter to freeze the surf might have added some sharpness to the forground of the shot. Just a thought.
