About spring is here, on clifford lake. one day we saw a huge patch of something red floating. it floated past the house, and then floated away. we got in the kayak to go look. it was a mass of these fallen blossoms from a tree. from up close, they looked pretty far apart - and i am not sure how they looked so tightly bunched from far away, nor how they stuck together. it was interesting.
