These two kayaker are innocent, they were just fishing on the kayak, they were framed!.. Just lightening it up : )... was just commenting on the title. The red color is really an eye catcher, I think you deliberately included the red floater on the foreground to give a three point of focus with the kayak in the center. nice one for composition. good capture and good experiment with the composition.. regards...

Beautiful colours and great details in this great capture Laura with lovely light effects on the water's surface. I think Doyle has probably hit quite a few nails on the head with his comment. Well done to you, all the best.....Ray

A nice capture Laura. Beautiful saturated coloured subject against a soft background brings a superb tonal contrast in this picture. Love the texture of the water. Best wishes.

Oh Laura, I like this one better! Great color and DOF and you have the composition here working on your behalf . . . the top area with the line and the float complemented by the grassy knoll on the lower foreground. I don't like the floaty thing in the lower left foreground, but cropping it out would have thrown off the balance. The central subject matter would have then been dead on center instead of off center which is better . . . certainly in this shot anyway. By luck or ingenius planning the pole and oar of the front boater both draw the eye into the subject . . . as do the pole and oar of the back man. The water texture and sparkly light reflections make this an altogether pleasing shot. Very nicely done!

It is a good place for meditation, perhaps! (?!) Lovely view with this emotional perspective! I like this more because of better lightness and effects! Well done Best regards: Maxime
