Great shot, though I'm not 100% satisfied with the composition ... the boats on the right shouldn't be cropped. I would have turned the cam a bit to the right.

I have enjoyed looking thru your portfolio here at usefilm. Your work is beautiful. Certainly worthy of the awards and recognition you have received. The bangladesh image caught my eye....for I was supposed to travel there to work with a Dr. Chowdury in training of health workers. The 9/11 cancelled that project unfortunately. This particular image is quite remarkable. Thanks for your postings.

Suvomoy, this is a fine piece of art. I see so many nice tones, so many lines leading my eyes toward the main subject.
Maybe a litle too soft, but I like it very much.

I'm impressed by the contrast of the figure in the foreground to the dark water below, and think that the slight bit of colour in the sky helps yb adding some visual weight to the top of the frame (as opposed to having it just fade off to black). Also, the purple/blue complements the orange/yellowish glow of the streetlights.
My only complaint might be that the whole thing feels kinda spread out and unfocused - I wonder if a lower angle closer to the figure might have added more weight towards your subject with the boats as background, rather than the more even visual field they're on here.
