Oh, yes. Not luxagraphic, per se, as motion is not a causal factor. Nonetheless a very good thing. I have tried to do something similar where a part of the exposure time is used luxagraphically and then I aim at some particluar subject for the remainder. One day I'll actually post one of those I guess.

Yup, one shot. Resting the camera at 3 directions over 30 seconds. Got the chair in focus for one angle then changed focus to inifnity (I think) for the other two angles... Great way to spend thirty seconds on a fullmoon-lit night!

But Ian, this is not a single exposure, or is it?

Cheers Nick. I was just seeing what will happen with one long exposure here.

Thanks for sharing the response Nick. Names something I've seen and haven't thought of here.It was fun doing this. One exposure having vaguely thought it out. On a nearly full moon at i.s.o. 3200 there's plenty of time to move the camera round without generating too much motion blurr. Three resting spots.

Very interesting, Ian! Did you do than by shooting 3 photos and combining them in photoshop or was it a multi-exposition?
It looks like... thoughts! And all that lights in the distance, the human made and the natural ones, create an atmosphere of remembrance and brainstoring. Only that sitting bank is not very pleasant for my eyes.
Great work nonetheless!

Yup. That's my theme for a while I think. I'm having a bit of a confidence crisis in the composition stakes but this impressionistic stuff will be fun for a while. Generating elements of a nice picture as opposed to a structured whole.

Pretty much what I thought you done... I think it's a technique that's got a lot of legs. Pursue please.

Yes well. when I say three points of view I actually mean I actually did actually I was lying. I realise this today. I'm shooting from the tripod. One perspective. Lined up the chair and focused on it then count to something then swing the camera to different directions blindly.

Did you know it's akchewly a cover? Did you leave the shutter open while looking at four different scenes? Works really well...
