Beautiful perspective! I feel the color version works better for this one. Because of the beautiful color in the intricate designs here. Very nice shot!

I like the color version best. The mosque contrasts well against the blue sky.

I don't agree with everyone else, but that's fine with me. I prefer the b&w version. It imparts a sense of timelessness which seems more appropriate for this type of architecture.

As I suspected my dear friend, the colours were well worth looking at and for me the colour one is the better. It could be that a mono toned version taken in a different perspective would work better than colour but in this instance this is the one for me. The colours are very beautiful and the impact is powerful...Well done to you my dear aLi. My very best wishes to you as always....Ray

Hi aLi! I usually prefer colour photos to black and white, but in this case it's a very tough choice. I see the merits of both versions and I am glad you posted both. I think the b&w is a bit more "dramatic" but the colour shows the true beauty of the mosque. So I guess you need both!! hahaha. Nice work. Cheers, Gary

Hi aLi, I agree, the tiles and colours are much more vivid and bright if I remember correctly. Yet the photos I took from the outside also had this softness over them, probably because of the slight haze / dust cloud over the square and because you're shooting against the sun... I'd love to go back too...:)
Thanks for your reply.
Cheers,
Hugo

Hi Ali, without doubt the colour version; much stronger, and more natural. It clearly shows how well you exposed it. Thansk for posting the technical data too!
When i was at the Emam Khomenie square in Esfahan, the dome was still covered by scaffolding; I'm glad the restauration is almost completed... What an amazingly beautiful city...
Cheers,
Hugo
