Beverly,
I do not know what this looked like in color, however it is a great choice to convert it to b&w! The softness of the feathers, yet keeping the detail is great. Lovely job here! Later my friend,

I think I like the darker whites too. But wouldn't it be fun for all of us to see a lighter version to compare to?

Nice picture Beverly. I like the white of the swan as you presented it. You would have lost to much detail and softness otherwise. Nice to see some of your images again.

Touching moment you captured, really brings out the textures in the feathers.

Wow! What a stunning shot! I really like it - especially the eyes being so clearly defined. Wonderful picture!

Very pretty Bev, I would try making it just a bit lighter and not as grey. It is like shooting snow, or White Sands, needs to be white with just a hint texture but not blown out so you can see it is feathers. Is a hard balancing act.
