I'd have a fascination for this too if i lived there! Great work keeping the birds there.

I have to disagree with the person who said the sky takes away here. Overall, I think you've captured a very moody landscape/seascape. I love the long exposure effects on the flowing water, which adds to that mood.
If I had one thing critical to say about the shot, it would be the sign post at the rocks on the left. I think I would have cloned it out or cropped the photo so it is not there. Although, cropping might be my last choice, since I do like the wider view.
Best wishes, Dave

This one looks a little too busy for my liking. If you made the rock you like, more of the focal point by excluding the smaller ones it would help I think. The dramatic sky is great :)

The hit here, John, is not the soft water surface alone, but rather the combination to the almost apocalyptic heaven.
A dense atmosphere in twilight - suggestive and mysterious. After observation of the foreground I realize that this thin thin cloud deep away in the horizon announces something. But what?
A photo that one can't take the eyes from!

good one. I like this kind of shots. I am not expert in photography but I like to say that, here something (may be the sky) is taking out attention from the rocks (which are so beautifully captured). ~Sameer

Nah, just be patient, John. Feed your urges, and then you will get to enjoy that moment, one day, when you know...
...you GOT the shot.
Then, you will be able to move on.
