Two voltage meters standing in for the two political parties. No photoshop on the colors on the meter's they were as they stand. I really wanted a stormy background, but early morning sun did a good job too. Enjoyed the sameness. Thanks for looking.
Hi Larry, just took the magnetic lasso tool and drew around both sets of power meters, then put the cursor inside them and right clicked, and a small box will pop up, then you pick select inverse, which will pick anything outside of chosen area. Then removed the color from the outside area by adjust hue, and adjusted saturation to zero. :-)
Hope this helps, it's a lot easier than I made it sound.
What an idea! Witty and insightful--and very nicely rendered. Just as I get to the point of thinking we're overdoing the selective desaturation thing, you pull off something like this. Great . . .
Brilliant idea Mark! Laughed, but it's not funny really I know. Great to have the warning sign in the middle. Succinctly summarised. "Sameness" just about says it all- same here.
