wonderful image with good contrast and tone

This looks good in B&W, it seems like a high contrast scene, as the sky is a little blown out. I think w/ the snow & B&W it works here, although it may be worth seeing if this works better w/ the sun at your back hitting the trees and giving a little bit more shadow detail.
