I feel somewhat the same about the right-weightedness...however possibly that would have been better simply by turning the chair inwards, on an angle towards the far left corner? I like the location of the chair, since it kind of forms the corner of a triangle between it, the centre of the painting and the pile of dirt on the floor. It's orientation leads the eye outwards though.

Great photo nonetheless...I really looked at it for several minutes, enjoying the details.

Cheers,
Marc

This is a really interesting scene with some fabulous subject going on. One thing I notice is that it's a little right-weighted. Maybe if the chair was to the left it'd feel more balanced. Maybe that'd just be more static (what do I know?). One thing I would suggest, especially if you still have the raw file, is let's see this as a black and white, and then maybe up the contrast just a little. I think a lot of that texture in the room would lend itself well to a rich b&w image. (Just my suggestion). Very cool!

I like the sense of abandone
great use of light on chair and window
the peeling painted wall and broken window give a sense of solitude but imho it's more a nostalgic feeling
very wellseen
a fav
