I'll second the comment about monotone - I think it works well for this image. I love the title too, really made me see this as a row of pawns in a chess game. I don't know if I would have come to that conclusion otherwise. Great work.

nice work I like the choice for going withe a mootone I think that works well for this image I love the texture of the concrete, keep up the good job.
